Sadly however one could turn the criticism upon him. While RFK Jr. may have kindly done a forward to Harvey Wasserman's recent book Solartopia, he nonetheless as NRDC poster boy and attorney was complicit in NRDC's leadership in deregulating the electric utilities and bailing out the stranded costs of their nuclear power plants -- as described in Wasserman's book The Last Energy War: The Battle Over Utility Deregulation. And where was he when New York State approved the sale of Indian Point to Entergy? Much harder to pressure a southern energy company than one based in New York. A close look would reveal awkward ties by him to the the very intersts he denounces. For example, if you so wish, ask him how he could justify his family charity the RFK Memorial taking money from Chevron in the 90's. More later.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
