Nuclear reactors smaller than garden sheds but capable of powering 20,000 homes will be available within five years from the company that gave us the atom bomb, it was reported yesterday.
What's more, the miniplants will be perfectly safe, Hyperion CEO John Deal told The Guardian.
The New Mexico-based firm claims it already has 100 orders and a six-year waiting list.
