Many of us live in the ten mile circle of death around Indian Point. Millions more live in the 50 mile circle of effect...after Chernobyl, and to this day, there is a 50 mile exclusion zone around the reactor site where no human lives. The NRC would have us believe we are safe sheltered in our homes, even if a nuclear accident hits the facility...do you believe them? Are we as a community willing to take that risk? The aftermath and ongoing effects from Chernobyl should see us state a resounding no, should see us in mass rising to demand the closure of Indian Point.
